Seniors
After a season, which saw Penryn 1 win the Cornwall League for the first time in a number years plus a team in the Regional League, we return for another long season with a few changes.
Extra time for training being wanted, will see two home matches on two evenings and two evenings of training per month. The other one is the U16’s will train with the seniors and U18’s.
After not increasing fees last season, we have had to increase fees this year with the increased cost of court time. As before there are a number of ways of paying.
The Sportshall is booked 18.15 – 21.30 so we can get two matches without rushing – help will be needed to setup.
Help with umpiring & coaching would be much appreciated because the club is growing all the time and it would help with costs.
We were lucky with grants & sponsorship last season again, if anyone knows of anyone who would like to help, please let a committee member know – we do have a couple of grant applications in to help with course costs and equipment.
All old and new players will be welcomed back, some will be moving onto pastures new ie University so we wish them good luck for the future but hope to see when home.
